This is what I do

So I go to school for Advertising. But I am actually more interested in Photography and to go even further, I like packaging things for viewing. Do not take it to literal. I like to perfect things. I like to guide things to perfection. As of now I have not been able to do that. Some people are just uncontrollable.

So as far as some of my work goes...here goes. I started photographing people in my hometown of Waretown, NJ. I worked at Lynn Photo Imaging in Manahawkin and Long Beach Island. I did regular 1-hour developing and processing, eventually the owners noticed i liked to take photographs so they basically threw me on a wedding. First experience was great, it was what it was. Young bride.... young photographer. It was the best wedding I will ever go to at PORKIES STEAK HOUSE.

From there Lynn photo sent me to a few more weddings along with a few on location family portraits. It was ok.... so I quit. After an unpleasant departure from Lynn Photo, I worked as a waiter and took photographs on my own, mainly taking a friend and putting them in front of my camera. But it seemed to work.

Once  rounded myself up a portfolio of photographs and a bunch of drawings and paintings from random classes at Ocean County College. I tried to move to California.  Short story even shorter ...

home to
Phili to Pheonix
Pheonix to Burbank
Burbank to Santa Barbara
Santa Barbara to Los Angelos
Los Angelos to Phili
and back home

all within 54 hours.

After feeling sorry for my self defeat I applied to Pratt. Got in. Moved to Brooklyn and have been pretty much non stop since.

Met some cool people. Amongst many Sophie Dupin a singer/songwriter, formed a band, which gave me the opportunity to take some pictures.

You can check that out at www.myspace.com/emblembst
however they are no longer together.

Through some common friends I met Tina Parol who at the time was recording demos and fishing to be signed by a label. Not so sure of details. I took her photos a while back.

As of  I think August Tina was signed to Universal Records, I heard from Tina who said that her management liked what I did her for the first time (left) and wanted me to take another crack at it (right) amongst a few of  Tina's other friends who happen to be photographers.
Unfortunately, according to Tina the label were not feeling the new photographs, so that was that. Which only seemed true until as of January she has been added to the universal records artist roster accompanied by my photograph. It should be taken down soon... it has been months since it has been posted. But I was never notified. Not much I can do about it on my own. All I can say is, and I will quote myself "Advice is expensive"

So much has gone on in the past 3 years since I have been in Brooklyn. These were just the only highlights you might be interested in. Now I guess you will have to be bored with the weekly or daily boringness that sometimes consumes my life.
